Orchestra is a class designed to promote the continuing study of violin, viola, cello or string bass. String and orchestra literature from the Renaissance through the contemporary period is studied. Electronic String instruments may be introduced as well as alternate string instruments. Public musical performances will be expected. This course should be taken both semesters.

They will perform in concert with BSO musicians in a concert on December 6th.
