Radio City Trip - Dec. 2

Music Students All BHS music
students wear the same concert attire for upcoming winter concerts and festival performances. Cost for both the male tuxedos and female long black dresses
is $85. We do have a limited number of pre-used attire in certain sizes for $40. Please use the attached form for orders/payments. Fittings for appropriate size orders will be completed by parent volunteers.

Broadway Review
The annual Broadway Review show is made up of performances of Broadway show tunes by BHS students. The show, which usually takes place in November, is totally casted and directed by the senior music students. the seniors choose the Broadway numbers that will be performed, oversee the auditions, design the choreography, and lead the rehearsals BHS Musical
The annual BHS Musical has historically been a Broadway show led by Mrs. Bennett and a director, music director, and choreographer. Shows in the past have included West Side Story, Fame, Anything Goes and Guys and Dolls Auditions are scheduled in December. Rehearsals begin before the winter break, and continue in January and February. The show is performed four times in March (on Thursday, Friday, Saturday evenings and a Saturday matinee). Rehearsals are extensive and include many evenings and some weekends. Chorus Course Descriptions Freshman Chorus This course will include individual concepts of vocal production as well as choral techniques appropriate for a large ensemble. A wide repertoire of choral music and experiences will be used for the development of comprehensive musicianship. This course should be taken both semesters. Female Chorus This course will stress correct vocal production and techniques involving the female voice. Comprehensive musicianship will be emphasized through a study of repertoire appropriate to female voice ranges. Public musical performances will be expected. This course should be taken both semesters. Male Chorus This course will stress correct vocal production and techniques involving the male voice. Comprehensive musicianship will be emphasized through a study of repertoire appropriate to male voice ranges. Public musical performances will be expected. This course should be taken both semesters. Vocal Ensemble Grades 10, 11, 12 This ensemble performs a variety of repertoire at both school and community events. Audition and teacher recommendation required. Public musical performances will be expected.
