UPDATE on Chris Nemarich’s Eagle Project for Broadneck Music Dept.
Alumni & Friends of BHS Music,
Thanks to donations from band members and parents I now have about half of the material for the instrument shelves. I am now starting work on the project and am asking for assistance with the construction of the shelves. I will be working on the shelves on August 8th, 9th and 10th. I still do need 15 more MDF boards, so if you are able to make a donation they are $25 a sheet. If you are able to help out please contact me by email at cnemarich@gmail.com or by phone at 410-544-5620. Please try to contact me ahead of time so that I know about how many people will be coming.

New Band Website!!
Parents and Students:
Our music website www.bhsmusic.org is in the process of being reconstructed. This will still be the main site for Broadneck Music Information, however, there is now a website specifically for Broadneck Band information. This website will act as an instructional resource for students but also an information resource for parents and students. It is still being updated but you will find all forms, Band Camp Info., preliminary calendar information, a list of 2008 performances and also photos, show music mp3s and performance videos. Subject: Barrage rehearsal update
Dear Musicians, I trust that each of you is now in possession of and practicing your parts for the Barrage event. Listen to the MP3 file for each piece have fun. The solo markings are for Barrage musicians and it is preferable that the pieces be memorized. Violinists and violists will be standing Please mark your calendars for the following five rehearsals and performance.
All rehearsals will take place at Bates Middle School in Annapolis, the new site for CYSO rehearsals.
21 August 5 PM - 7 PM
28 August 5 PM - 6 PM
4 September 5 PM - 6 PM (followed by CYSO parents meeting and first CYSO rehearsal)
11 September 5 PM - 6 PM (CYSO rehearsals will follow)
18 September 5 PM - 6 PM (CYSO rehearsals will follow)
Note that there is a 2 PM call time. This means unpacked, on stage with stand and ready to tune. Make plans to be at Broadneck by 1:45 PM.

5 PM Dinner with Barrage, details to follow
7 PM Concert
Saturday, September 20 is a fundraiser...BBQ Dinner
