Broadneck music students have opportunities throughout the year to participate in high-level performance opportunities at the All-County and All-State levels and additional enrichment experiences through Solo & Ensemble festivals and the BSO Side-by-Side program. The AACPS music office has compiled a printable list of key dates for the 2019-2020 school year.
Students are selected by audition and key factors in ensemble formation include balance, instrumentation, and voicing so that the selected music is appropriately performed. A guest conductor of strong reputation is selected to work with students. Attendance is mandatory at all rehearsals.
